Your Omicron Survival Kit

OMICRON11 (3).png

WARNING: Omicron is the second most contagious virus in the world, after measles. While the mRNA vaccines remain our number 1 tool in ending this pandemic, Omicron has partially escaped the vaccine even after the third dose, and a fourth dose has been found to confer no significant protection. Because the world is far from reaching herd immunity (more people needs to be vaccinated or infected), more mutations are expected to occur and progressive vaccine escape is likely to occur. A new pan-COVID vaccine is already in the works.

A game changer is a availability of an effective oral anti-viral drug that is effective against all current and future variants of COVID-19 virus - PAXLOVID. It is 89% effective against hospitalization and death when taken within 5 days from the onset of symptoms. However, its supply is still very limited.

Order your 4 FREE rapid At-Home COVID test kits NOW. See link below. I will explain to you how and when to use this important test. This test answers the question: Am I Infectious NOW? And you get your answer in 15 minutes, not 2 - 3 days later as with PCR test.

SURVIVAL TOOL KIT

1. Vaccines and boosters - neutralizing antibodies work outside the cell. Kills the virus before it can enter the cells. The best way to end the pandemic is to get over 70% of the population vaccinated.

If you are not vaccinated or have not been infected yet, you have no immunity against COVID-19 regardless of whatever you think. Omicron will likely infect you and give you the "natural" immunity that you prefer.

2. PAXLOVID (ritonavir-boosted nirmatrelvir) Therapy - Kills the virus after it enters the cell by stopping its replication. It is 89% effective against severe infection and death but must be taken within 3 to 5 days from the onset of symptoms, not much later. Medications that are metabolized through the cytochrome P450 3A4 pathway may need to be temporarily discontinued while taking Paxlovid therapy (one dose = 0ne 100 mg tablet of ritonavir plus two 150 mg tablets of nirmatrelvir).

As of January 12, 2022, Paxlovid is available at Walgreen's at 1801 North Olden Avenue, Ewing. Phone: (609) - 493-9902

3. Face mask - N95, NK95 or surgical mask, not cloth mask.

4. Social distancing, avoid crowds, better ventilation, frequent hand washing

5. Vitamin D3  50 mcg (2,000 units) to 100 mcg (4,000 units) daily

6. Zinc 50 mg daily

7. Sleep more

8. At-Home Rapid COVID testing when needed. If you test positive and you are within 5 days from the onset of symptoms, you may be eligible for free oral Paxlovid treatment.

If you have been exposed to someone with COVID Omicron (like after travelling by plane to visit your family) but you don't have any symptoms - you are wondering yourself: Am I infectious right now? Can I spread Omicron right now? That is the time to perform the At-Home Rapid Antigen test - before you meet someone or go back to work.

9. Monoclonal antibody infusion (Regeneron and Eli Lilly) is no longer effective, except sotrovimab.

Preventive Cardiology

After the initial evaluation, preventive cardiology expertise determines how most accurately determine the risk for cardiovascular events  within the next 5 to 10 years.

Advanced Lipid Clinic

Once the severity of risk is known, medical therapy is optimized to the level of risk. Advanced lipid therapy is the foundation of prevention in high risk patients.
